January Books read: (Jan 1-7 ) Old School by Tobias Wolff, Happy Trails (Short Stories) by Julie Hecht

Started: Rita Mae Brown's Hounded to Death (Fox Hunt Mystery) What can I say, I didn't like it.

Jan 8-15 : Read: The Job by Sinclair Lewis, The Odd Women by George Gissing, both were good reads

Started: Kipps by H.G. Wells, finished it a week later, and enjoyed it.

Jan 16-23 : Free Air by Sinclair Lewis, Life, Interrupted (Spalding Gray & Others) Promises to Keep by Joe Biden,
Dark Harbor by Ved Mehta

Jan 24- 31: Started Dangerous Laughter Short Stories by Steven Milhauser, The Lifted Veil by George Eliot. A Three Dog Life by Abigail Thomas. Finished the Abigail Thomas and most of the short stories.

Books started but not yet finished: Twelve Men by Theodore Drieser, Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, The Slim Princess by George Ade,
